Argentina: the PTO extends the deadlines suspension... for the last time?
Dear clients, colleagues and friends,

First of all, we hope you and your families are in good health.

This time we want to inform you that the National Government of our country has decided to extend the Mandatory Isolation period in several jurisdictions of our country and to move forward with a new stage of Social Distancing in other regions until November 29th.

As a consequence, the Trademark and Patent Office (INPI) has also extended the deadlines suspension of all the procedures that depend on this institution until November 29th. However, it is expected that these deadlines will be resumed after this last extension.

This means that it is very likely that as of November 30th the suspended deadlines from March 20th will be back in force.

Please, be sure that we will duly notice you through this via of all the updates as we have been doing so far. We will also inform all the new deadlines regarding every file our firm has intervened.

As usual, we would like to suggest not to delay the filings of new procedures or renewals since our offices are fully operative working in home office mode.

Our thoughts are with those affected by this appalling disease. We hope this pandemic ends soon and everyone remains safe and healthy.

Kind regards,
